My first day of Insanity - March 26, 2011

Day 32

I still have so much further to go - this is only the beginning of my Beachbody change!  I am 5'7" and started out at 138 lbs.  Now, that's not terrible by any means and I was considered to be at a "normal" weight, but I was less than happy with my image.  The number wasn't the big deal, it was that I was flabby and rolly and unhappy.  I stayed active and would go to the gym, do some Zumba, or just have a dance party with the kiddos in the living room pretty frequently, but I wasn't seeing any changes in my shape.  I saw and infomercial about mid March 2011 for Brazil Butt Lift and decided that I HAD to have it, but me being me, had to make sure that I did some research and see what real people thought of the results.  So I searched on the Internet and found that people were really loving it, but while I was doing my homework on BBL, I came across Insanity.  Now, I had seen an infomercial (geez I watch watched too many early morning infomercials...) before about Insanity and remember being really excited to try it out - really fast paced, cardio, and challenging.  I thought for a few hours and just kept the page open on my screen and would go back often and reread through both programs over and over.  After going back and forth on whether I should purchase one or not, I finally put Insanity in my shopping cart and entered my payment info.  That's the beginning of the new world of true fitness for me.  I got the package about 5 days later and ravaged through it so excited to just get going.  I set everything up and went at it first thing the next morning.  The fit test was...HARD, and the first workout, Plyometric Cardio Circuit kicked my trash harder than ANYTHING ever had before!!!  I couldn't finish the last 10 minutes of the video, I had to lie on the floor, dripping sweat, and sipping water for those last few minutes.  It was exhilarating!  My second workout, Cardio Power & Resistance, I did finish and I about did a victory cry!  That was it.  I was addicted.

I decided for month 2 to really push myself with Insanity but I also wanted to add more weight training in and so I ordered P90X and as of May 3, 2011, I am using both programs in a hybrid schedule.  P90X is very different than Insanity is but I love the change of pace and the different challenges I have been facing with P90X.

Today I am at 132 and I feel SO much better!  I have really kicked my clean eating into high gear.  I have always been
